THE FALLOW TIME OF YEAR

From Samhain (the sun at 15 degress of Scorpio) until Yule (the winter Solstice) it is the fallow time of year for spirits and magick. Pack up your altar and give yourself, and everyone and every "thing" a day off, too.

Make your list of goals for the next year, plan holiday gifts and suprises, put your back into the yearly harvest and preparation for the winter ahead.

Take time every day to walk outside and commune with the earth. Set up a bird feeder and watch the birds. Take time to admire the changing trees, the growing winds, the moody sky.

The old (Magickal) year is dead. The new year is concieved, to be born at Yule. Take a moment to look back with thanks, forgiveness, and completion, and then take another moment to look ahead with wishes, hopes, and blessings.
