BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH

In modern Wicca, practitioners casting a Circle will call guardians aligned with both the four directions (east, south, west, north) and four elements (air, fire, water, earth). Not all witches are Wiccans, but many of us use the direction/element correspondence. (Although, which is aligned with which --or witch, haha-- can vary depending on geographical features and location, and other factors.)

Based on a purely personal mystical feelings, I think that today's dam break in Hawaii (west/water), the recent tornadoes in the Mid-west (east/air; given that "west" is so far from the rest of the country), and the widening wildfires in Texas (south/fire), are signs that if we are looking at fairly large quake it will be to the north, perhaps in Humboldt county, but anywhere north of the Bay area, and perhaps off the coast of Washington state. This could occur in the next few days, or around the solar eclipse at the end of the month.

Please, no matter where you live, be on the safe side. Get your disaster kits together.

And please be careful and mindful of what you are doing. And mindful of others. Today in Southern California there was a shooting at a Denny's during lunch and also a car drove through a crowd of school children. A lot of people are feeling the "wobble" as I am calling it now, but don't know what they are feeling. They just feel like the world is going crazy and maybe they are too.

Now is not a time for rash actions. Stop. Think. Reach out.

I believe that there are bad spirits roaming the earth, looking for "hosts." Anchor yourself in the goodness in your life. If you are waiting for a limo and all you can get is a ride on the bus, give the bus driver the same tip you'd have given the limo driver. Don't curse the bus. Magnify the good things in your life right now. Treat each blessing like a fragile seed struggling to grow in poor soil.

Have faith. Try to stay positive and please, pay attention. Trust your gut.
