CAPRICORN FULL MOON 2007

Tomorrow, Saturday morning, at about nine o'clock Central Daylight Time, is the full moon in Capricorn. Tonight is a good night to get your mojo on, but it is interesting to note that the exact sun/moon opposition takes place on Saturday, named for and ruled by Cap's ruling planet Saturn. And Saturn is one of the biggies really shaping this year.

So, let's go back to the beginning of the week for a minute. How was it for you? Monday was the big showdown between Neptune and Saturn (ruler of Capricorn). These two have been duking it out all year, and never leave more than a few degrees of opposition. Their "pre-Doomsday"*** positioning has everything to do with (most of) this week's headlines: The floods, the bombs scares, the shootings, the fires, even wrestler Benoit's suicide and murder of his family. (And then we have Mercury retrograde to thank for the rest: plane, bus, and car crashes, missed deadlines, computer glitches.)

As for me, I have been dealing directly with my own issues-- and literally head on. I have the chipped tooth to prove it. An on-going health issue, too much stress, not enough grounding or faith on my part ("Healer, heal thyself!") caused me to faint- in public no less- on Wednesday, landing on said tooth. Ironically, I am a Capricorn, and Saturn rules bones and teeth. Karma is a bitch, as they say.

While I suggest you check out Moonsurfing and Nolle for direction on this month's full moon, the truth is, even if you are reading this blog for the first time, you probably already know what isn't working in your life right now, and what issues you need to resolve. And if you are lucky, and I am not being sarcastic, they are the really big problems that you need to resolve once and for all.

This week, and Wednesday and Thursday in particular, I faced the darkness and demons that dwell in the darkest parts of my soul. It has been a long time since I have felt so alone and lost, so utterly without hope. My weaknesses manifested in great strength- financially, physically, and with all the bad spirits out and about, psychically and spiritually.

For every action there is a reaction, for every push there is pull. Only in struggling with weakness can you become strong. Muscle must be broken down in order for strength to be built up. I am lucky to be blessed with people who love me, and who can remind me that I have power, that, as Michael Franti sings "to drive away the vampires/you must guide them into the light." But first you must find them in the darkness.

Light a candle and say a prayer tonight, or any night this weekend, for those that have forgotten that light can exist in darkness, but darkness is dispelled once the light shines. And the truest Light, in fact the only True Light, is Love.

Love the vampires, love the darkness-- they are the harbingers of strength. Love unconditionally, and the world is saved.

PRAISES, THANKS, & BLESSINGS!!!

***The Doomsday Cycle is the positioning of the major planets into a "Grand Cross" in September of 2012. The Mayans called it "the end of the world as we know it." This is the year of The Great Awakening. The events of this year are just the beginning of the major changes we will see over the next five years. Stay safe, stay strong, prepare your heart for unconditional Love, miracles, and for the changes that will be necessary for the next step in human evolution. And, as I have said over and over, keep batteries in your smoke detectors, deal with plumbing problems immediately, and keep your disaster kits stocked.

MANIC MONDAY

Well, this week has been so (relatively) calm, despite all the fears and astrological predictions and omens, I'm almost lulled into a sweet rest...

Almost. Another "steller" day is Sunday, with Mars conjuncting Neptune. This is basically the ruler of war, aggression and accidents lining up with the ruler of fantasy, illusion, day dreams and flakiness. (I have actually learned to avoid the Bay Area because my Mars and Neptune lines intersect there. I love San Francisco, but almost every time I go there I feel uneasy, bad things happen, and I can never get anything straightened out... wish I'd had my astro-locality chart done years ago!)

The moon will be playing nice with both players, now that she has slapped everyone's hands (Thursday) in that drama (Saturn/Neptune opposition). But she will also oppose Pluto and Jupiter, and square Uranus over the weekend. I don't know what to make of it. The 25th was another of those dates I dreaded, but perhaps only the druggies and those with something to hide need to worry. Rockie says Sunday is a "day made for fanatics" in her weekend astro-forecast. Be careful driving home Sunday night.

I don't know when I am going to be able to post the next installment in my series on the Laws of Attraction, positive thinking, and The Secret. I would say Monday, but we are looking at another loooooong moon void (9:30 AM CST Monday through noon Tuesday). You should know the drill by now: only routine activities and plans you don't want to keep.

I think Monday will be a good day to dream ahead to ALL DREAM'S DAY, as I have declared ALL FOOLS to be from now on. What would you do if you could be King or Queen for the day? How would you rule the world? Feel free to e-mail me, to post it on your own blog, or to simply write it all down.

I also invite you to take some time this weekend and contemplate karma. Feeding the birds, giving money to beggars, being nice to someone that annoys you, recycling, walking instead of driving, and one that very much affects me these days, tipping your waiter the appropriate 15-20 %, are all good ways to get free karma bonus points.

Karma is like the muscles in the human body. For each set that push there is set that pulls. In what ways are you creating karma, either good or bad? I believe that the Universe takes your behaviour towards others as the blueprint for how you yourself want to be treated. (If you gossip, than others will gossip about you, that sort of thing.)

I will be delving more into karmic issues in later posts, but with such a long stretch of void energy coming up Monday, I thought I'd pitch my two cents in on ways to spend it. If nothing really comes of it, that's okay. There's nothing so refreshing as a "free" day to explore your beliefs and dreams.

If you don't hear from me again over the weekend, check back Tuesday afternoon.

PRAISES, THANKS, & BLESSINGS!!!
