MIRACLES OR MELEE?

I've been a bit nervous since Sunday. This lunar eclipse, a true "blood moon", is tomorrow night at 9:30 CST. (That's 7:30 PM for those of you reading this in Los Angeles.) There was an article on Yahoo News today that this is the same type of lunar eclipse that Columbus used to dupe the Arawak Indians into giving his crew more food. Ironically, Columbus and later expeditions would make the Arawaks extinct.

There is alot of energy out and about, and alot of changes and shifting around. Castro's resignation is the sort of surprise to expect. There will be a lot of little earthquakes in people's lives.

The full moon tomorrow night is the "Chaste Moon" according to the Witches Almanac. The moon will be full in Virgo, the only barren earth sign. She is the harvest, that which has reached completion. She is full growth.

Right now Virgo has Saturn, Lord of Karma, transiting her sign. Saturn rules Capricorn, and both Pluto and Jupiter have moved into Capricorn in the last two months. In addition to health issues (Virgo rules health), there are serious family issues afoot. Pluto is the unwanted son-in-law of Virgo's Goddess Demeter, or Ceres. Jupiter overthrew his father Saturn to become the Supreme God. There are powerful opportunities for healing in your family

Eclipses are considered "fated days" according to my Llewellyn's* ephemeris. What if Fate was here visiting? In Greek mythology the three Fates were sisters. One was the spinner of the thread of life, one the measurer, and one the cutter. I would recommend, if you should bump into these three Ladies, that you tell them everything you Love in your life: your family, your friends, your favourite tea, that new dress you bought, your house, your garden, your business. I would recommend only discussing how much you Love your life.

I think the God/desses get tired of listening to us complain. Whatever your destiny is, and whatever karma you have going on in your life, now is the time to take a minute from all the things you normally think about, and just give thanks for everything that you Love.

Please, take a few minutes tomorrow at 9:30 CST, and go outside if you can, and watch the eclipse (if there is no cloud cover), and think about what you Love. Send it out like a prayer. A prayer of healing and protection and thanks.

PRAISES, THANKS, & BLESSINGS!!!

** I wish I could recommend Llewellyn's. They are Scott Cunningham's publisher, and he was one of the greatest witches to walk the planet. But my ephemeris has a lot of typos and mistakes, and some of the stuff that they publish is just flat out ridiculous. Too many of their authors lack the academic skills to write well researched books. They have a lot of good authors too, but I just can't recommend them wholeheartedly.
