ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

People call me for answers to the big questions: is there life after death (yes); can the deceased hear us (yes); and most importantly, who will win the SuperBowl...

A very skeptical family member asked me for a tarot reading last night, to find out who would win and the points spread. Using my keen psychic eye I immediately replied with absolute confidence "The Patriots..."

Man, is my face red, but after all, I don't follow the basketball. ;o)

Seriously, though, sports, and numbers, are not my forte. I often say that I am an empath with an upgrade. I feel things. Feelings just don't translate in to point spreads and lottery numbers, alas.

What I do know is that tonight's full moon is a powerhouse of contradicting energies, so choose your focus wisely. It may be that the weekend will hold alot of surprises, or it may be that the surprise will be that nothing unusual happens. If the latter is true this may be the only full moon that won't turn the world topsy-turvy. Enjoy it while you can. (And re-stock your disaster kits.)

Is there something that you really, really want? Do you believe that you can have it? Do you believe you are worthy of it? Do you have love in your heart for yourself? Do you believe that it is okay to have what you desire? Do you believe there is enough for everyone? That you won't be taking away from someone else to have your truest dream?

The Lord and the Lady will engage in their sacred dance tonight. She in his "home" sign of Leo, resplendent with the promise of golden summer, her beauty warming even cold Saturn's heart. The Lord shines from the house of the Water Bearer, extroverted Aquarius, who is also playing hostess to dreamy Neptune.

This is the Martian transit year ("the Great Awakening" I am calling it) but there are other players and the Saturn-Neptune opposition has been effecting us all for some time. Saturn is all about boundaries and cold hearted karma, despite a sojourn in the effusive house of the warm sun. And Neptune refuses to be contained, despite his travels in the house of the water-bearer.

But tonight's sun-moon opposition might remind the two contenders that not all oppositions have to be a fight. Many people forget that a full moon is actually a sun-moon opposition. We must see our true reflection to be illuminated.

We are all children of the Divine. The light inside of you is eternal and boundless, your lifetime here is finite and contained. These are not contradictions, but necessities. Tonight balance can be achieved.

Know that you are worthy of your dreams, and don't be afraid to let your imagination run wild. And also know that with discipline and structure you can attain them.

Tonight, take a moment to gaze at the full moon and call a peace treaty between your irrational heart and logical head. Make your dreams and your discipline play nice and appreciate how much they really need each other.

And say a prayer for this year, that we survive it, that the earth survives us, and that we all learn how much we need each other, even those we call our "enemies". Perhaps only in the reflection of what we do not want, what we do not contain, can we see what we do want, what we truly are.

PRAISES, THANKS, & BLESSINGS!!!
