Today is mellow. And it won't be anything else because the big buildup is to the New Moon. Back before Pluto was discovered Mars ruled Scorpio, and there is an odd and not altogether comforting configuration in tonight's planetary line-up.
The good news and the bad news: Tomorrow is another long, long moon void. BAM! At the starting gate and then stand around getting frustrated. But I think it is so we will slow down and really look at things before we act. (Don't make any purchases or plans you want to keep. Remember to drive carefully and that you will be "fuzzy." Remember other people may not have the inside scoop and might be acting crazy.)
This is the last week to make love potions. Samhain is Monday. Which means Samhain Eve is Sunday night. The New Year begins on Tuesday. Settle your debts or at least getting an account list. Write letters to the dead. And be prepared for some major, life changing events between now and Christmas.
Try to light a candle tonight, and each night between now and Samhain. And if you can leave offerings for the dead, all the better. Count your blessings, and say your prayers.
